Mortimer Artaud vs Kazuki Yamashita

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 20/11/2036 from Paris, France:

The Paris venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mortimer Artaud (5 - 4) who hails from Paris, France and Kazuki Yamashita(0 - 1) from Hamamatsu, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Artaud hits home with a stinging overhand right.  
Yamashita gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.

Artaud throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.

Yamashita advances into close range and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Yamashita hits home with a left hook.  
Yamashita pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a solid right hook.  
Yamashita sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Artaud lands a left hook.  
Yamashita gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Artaud hits home with a left uppercut.  
Yamashita closes the distance and connects with a right hook.

Artaud steps to the outside and attempts to land an overhand left, but Yamashita slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Yamashita manages to force Artaud into the corner.  Artaud lands a solid right hook.  
Artaud hits home with a cross.  
Yamashita pivots from in front of his opponent.  Yamashita attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Artaud time to recover.  
Artaud tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right.  
Yamashita steps inside.  Artaud tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Artaud lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Artaud switches the action to the outside.  Yamashita hits home with a cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Artaud's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid. Yamashita's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Artaud switches the action to the outside.  Yamashita tries to land a jab, but Artaud dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
