Kenji Yoshida vs Xin Zhuo

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 03/11/2036 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kenji Yoshida (37 - 9) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Xin Zhuo(4 - 3) from Wenzhou, China.  

Round 1: 

Yoshida hits home with a cross.  
Yoshida drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Zhuo throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Zhuo manages to force Yoshida onto the ropes.  Zhuo lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Yoshida steps to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Yoshida is looking to keep his distance and strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Zhuo lands a right hook.  
Zhuo hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  
Zhuo throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook.

Yoshida lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Yoshida switches the action to the outside and lands a cross, jab and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Zhuo walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Zhuo lands a stinging left hook.  
Yoshida drives a left hook into Zhuo's body.  
Zhuo throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Yoshida is looking to keep his distance.  Yoshida sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Zhuo advances into close range and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Zhuo throws a right hook, but Yoshida holds on to his opponent.  Zhuo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Zhuo about fouling.  
Yoshida quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Zhuo gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Yoshida steps away from his opponent and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Zhuo lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Yoshida steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Zhuo lands a solid left hook.  
Yoshida steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Zhuo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Yoshida lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Zhuo throws a right hook, but Yoshida ties up his opponent.  Yoshida tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Zhuo's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Yoshida.  
Yoshida lands with a spiteful jab.  
Yoshida pivots to the left of his opponent.  Yoshida throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook to Yoshida's liver.  
Yoshida is looking to keep his distance.  Yoshida sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Yoshida lands a jab, cross and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Zhuo advances into close range.  Yoshida is on target with a left hook.  Yoshida ties up his opponent.  Zhuo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Yoshida's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
