David Rowan vs Bernardo Leonetti

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 24/10/2036 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are David Rowan (41 - 12) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Bernardo Leonetti(3 - 0) from Florence, Italy.  

Round 1: 

Leonetti sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Rowan lands with a spiteful jab.  
Leonetti attempts to land a jab, but Rowan parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Leonetti throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook to Leonetti's body.  
Rowan steps to the outside.  Leonetti finds the target with a jab.  
Rowan lands a spiteful jab.  
Leonetti steps away from his opponent.  Rowan lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Rowan hits home with a cross.  
Rowan is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Rowan feints a left, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Rowan lands with a hard jab.  
Rowan steps inside.  Leonetti hits home with a firm left hook.  Leonetti throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Rowan's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Rowan attempts to land a cross, but Leonetti slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut to his opponents liver.

Rowan voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Leonetti is whaling away with hooks, but Rowan keeps his defence tight.  
Leonetti is on target with a stinging cross.  
Leonetti is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Rowan lands with a spiteful jab.  
Rowan lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Rowan finds the target with a jab.  
Leonetti is on target with a firm left hook.

Rowan lands with a ramrod jab.  
Rowan tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Rowan lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.
