Roger Gibson vs Santiago Peixoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/10/2036 from Shreveport, USA:

The Shreveport venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Roger Gibson (1 - 12) who hails from New Orleans, USA and Santiago Peixoto(2 - 7) from Goiania, Brazil.  

Round 1: 

Peixoto gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook.  
Gibson steps inside.  Peixoto lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Gibson is on target with a jab.  
Peixoto is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Gibson steps inside and drives a left uppercut into Peixoto's body.  
Peixoto advances into close range and drives a left hook into Gibson's liver.  
Peixoto quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Gibson lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.

Peixoto steps to the outside and connects with an overhand right.  
Peixoto is on target with an overhand right.

Peixoto tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Peixoto lands a stiff jab.  
Peixoto hits home with a cross.  
Peixoto attempts to land a jab, but Gibson blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Peixoto sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a solid jab.  
Peixoto tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Gibson steps inside.  Gibson pivots to the right of his opponent, but Peixoto connects with a right hook.
