Valentin Robert vs Blaise Breton

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/10/2036 from Paris, France:

The Paris venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Valentin Robert (13 - 9) who hails from Paris, France and Blaise Breton(1 - 9) from Paris, France.  

Round 1: 

Robert hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Robert switches the action to the outside.  Robert feints a left, and then lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Breton is on target with a cross.  
Robert quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by  two straights to his opponents head.

Breton lands a cross.  
Robert steps away from his opponent and lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Robert feints a right hook, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Robert tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a firm cross.

Breton walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Breton hits home with a left hook.

Breton steps inside.  Breton pivots to the right of his opponent.  Breton throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Robert steps away from his opponent and lands a jab followed by  two overhand lefts to his opponents head.

Breton steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Robert in the corner.  Robert is on target with a solid left hook.

Breton is on target with a right hook.  
Robert lands a left uppercut.  
Breton walks Robert onto the ropes.  Breton is on target with a right hook.  
Robert is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Robert feints a cross, and then lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Robert attempts to land an overhand left, but Breton slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Robert is on target with a jab.  
Robert lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Breton gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but Robert holds on to his opponent.  Breton uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Robert behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.

Breton gets on the inside and manages to force Robert onto the ropes.  Robert throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Breton time to recover.
