Ashley Gallagher vs Max Owen

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 19/10/2036 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ashley Gallagher (31 - 15) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Max Owen(1 - 3) from Charlotte, USA.  

Round 1: 

Gallagher advances into close range.  Gallagher pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gallagher digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Gallagher throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Owen's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Owen pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Gallagher gets on the inside.  Gallagher pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a solid left hook into Owen's body.  
Gallagher throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Gallagher ties up his opponent.  Gallagher hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Gallagher to stop fouling.  
Gallagher is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Gallagher throws a left uppercut, but misses the target.  Gallagher holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Owen pushes his forearm into Gallagher's face.  The ref breaks Gallagher's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Gallagher throws a right uppercut, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Gallagher ties up his opponent.  Gallagher pushes his forearm into Owen's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Gallagher connects with a left hook.  
Gallagher lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Owen lands a solid cross.  
Gallagher is looking to close the distance and hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Owen pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Gallagher gets on the inside and digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents ribs.  Gallagher clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Owen pushes his forearm into Gallagher's face.  The referee warns Owen and breaks the clinch.  
Owen feints a right hook, and then lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Owen feints a right hook, and then hits home with a cross.  
Gallagher is on target with a jab.  Gallagher throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Gallagher steps inside.  Owen is on target with a right uppercut.

Gallagher drives a firm right uppercut into his opponents body.  Gallagher ties up his opponent.  Owen leans on his opponent using all his weight. Gallagher uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Owen's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Gallagher steps inside and connects with a solid right hook.  
Gallagher gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook to Owen's body.  Gallagher ties up his opponent.  Gallagher hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee warns Gallagher and breaks the clinch.  
Gallagher throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Gallagher steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Gallagher gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.
