Shinji Kobashigawa vs Koldan Volkov

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 18/10/2036 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Shinji Kobashigawa (10 - 6) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Koldan Volkov(4 - 2) from Khabarovsk, Russia.

Kobashigawa sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Volkov hits home with a right hook.  
Kobashigawa lands a stinging cross.  
Kobashigawa advances into close range and walks Volkov onto the ropes.  Kobashigawa lands a solid left hook.

Kobashigawa connects with a stinging right uppercut.  
Kobashigawa lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kobashigawa throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Kobashigawa ties up his opponent.  Kobashigawa is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Volkov tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a forceful left uppercut to Volkov's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE VOLKOV WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Volkov steps to the outside.  Kobashigawa is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Kobashigawa lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  He then lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  It looks like Volkov has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Kobashigawa throws a left uppercut, but is off-target.  Kobashigawa holds on to his opponent.  Volkov leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Kobashigawa tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Volkov behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kobashigawa to stop fouling.  
Kobashigawa gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Volkov is on target with a jab.  
Kobashigawa goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Volkov time to recover.  
Kobashigawa advances into close range.  Kobashigawa sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.
