Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 08/10/2036 from Brisbane, Australia:

The Brisbane venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Chris Gorrie (39 - 18) who hails from Sunshine Coast, Australia and Geoff Burgess(0 - 4) from Adelaide, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Burgess gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Burgess manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Burgess connects with a right hook.  
Gorrie switches the action to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Gorrie lands with a stinging jab.  
Gorrie steps to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Burgess cuts off the ring, trapping Gorrie on the ropes.  Burgess lands a jab.  
Burgess gets on the inside.  Gorrie lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Gorrie switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Gorrie steps to the outside and lands a jab to Burgess's body.  
Gorrie lands a sharp cross.  
Gorrie sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Burgess tries to land a left hook, but Gorrie sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to Burgess's body.

Burgess quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Burgess tries to land a left hook, but Gorrie sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Burgess's ribs.  
Burgess steps inside.  Gorrie lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Gorrie holds on to his opponent.  Burgess pushes his forearm into Gorrie's face.  The ref breaks Gorrie's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Gorrie lands with a sharp jab.  
Burgess gets on the inside and walks Gorrie onto the ropes.  Gorrie is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Burgess gets on the inside and is on target with a firm left hook.  Gorrie clinches his opponent.  Burgess hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Burgess is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Burgess about fouling.  
Burgess gets on the inside and manouvers Gorrie onto the ropes.  Gorrie drives a solid left hook into Burgess's body.  
Gorrie is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Gorrie tries to land a cross, but Burgess blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Burgess closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Gorrie in the corner.  Gorrie lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Burgess steps inside.  Gorrie lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

Gorrie is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but Burgess slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.
