Paul Scroggin vs Joe Gallagher

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/10/2036 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Paul Scroggin (5(1) - 1) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Joe Gallagher(7 - 12) from Leeds, UK.  

Round 1: 

Gallagher sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Gallagher tries to land a jab, but Scroggin slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Gallagher is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Scroggin digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Scroggin closes the distance and is on target with a solid right hook.  
Scroggin lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Scroggin lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Gallagher lands with a spiteful jab.

Scroggin steps inside.  Gallagher drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  Scroggin clinches his opponent.  Gallagher pushes his forearm into Scroggin's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Scroggin steps inside and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Scroggin manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Scroggin digs in a solid right uppercut to Gallagher's body.

Gallagher goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Scroggin time to recover.  
Gallagher is on target with a firm left hook.  
Scroggin lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Scroggin lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Gallagher hits home with a sharp cross.  
Scroggin is looking to close the distance and digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Scroggin lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  Scroggin holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Scroggin pushes his forearm into Gallagher's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Scroggin uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Gallagher behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Scroggin about fouling.

Scroggin closes the distance and lands a left hook.  
Gallagher tries to step out of his opponents range.  Gallagher quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gallagher attempts to land a jab, but Scroggin sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Gallagher lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Scroggin forces Gallagher to back into a corner.  Scroggin lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Scroggin gets on the inside.  Gallagher lands a left hook.  
Scroggin lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Scroggin is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Gallagher throws a right uppercut, but Scroggin holds on to his opponent.  Scroggin pushes his forearm into Gallagher's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Scroggin about fouling.
