Gus Loar vs Richie Bevan

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/09/2036 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gus Loar (23(2) - 1) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Richie Bevan(8 - 13) from Columbus, USA.  

Round 1: 

Loar gets on the inside.  Loar quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a firm right hook.  
Bevan is on target with a jab.  
Loar steps inside.  Bevan drives a left hook into Loar's ribs.  
Bevan lands with a ramrod jab.  Bevan throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook to Bevan's ribcage.

Bevan tries to keep the action at long range and attempts to land a jab, but Loar slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.

As they grapple, Loar pushes his forearm into Bevan's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Loar.  
Bevan tries to keep the action at long range and tries to land a jab, but Loar blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Loar is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Loar cuts off the ring, trapping Bevan on the ropes.  Loar drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Bevan lands a jab.  
Loar gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Loar ties up his opponent.  Bevan pushes his forearm into Loar's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Bevan attempts to land a right hook, but Loar sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook to Bevan's body.

Bevan steps away from his opponent.  Loar lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.
