Mark Sosa vs Ricardo Yamguas

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 10/09/2036 from Cebu City, Philippines:

The Cebu City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mark Sosa (0 - 8) who hails from Malolos, Philippines and Ricardo Yamguas(6 - 12) from Cebu City, Philippines.  

Round 1: 

Yamguas closes the distance.  Yamguas pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Sosa lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.

Yamguas lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Yamguas holds on to his opponent.  Yamguas tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Sosa behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sosa is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Yamguas parries the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut to Sosa's body.  
Yamguas gets on the inside.  Sosa drives a left hook into Yamguas's body.  
Sosa tries to keep the action at long range and lands with a stiff jab.  
Sosa is on target with a cross.  
Yamguas advances into close range and connects with a stinging right hook.  
Yamguas is on target with a solid cross to his opponents body.  Yamguas tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Yamguas steps inside and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sosa steps away from his opponent and tries to land a jab, but Yamguas sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.
