Gus Loar vs Charlie Carswell

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 31/08/2036 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gus Loar (22(2) - 1) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Charlie Carswell(7 - 7) from Wollongong, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Carswell tries to keep the action at long range and attempts to land a jab, but Loar sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut to Carswell's ribcage.  
Carswell connects with a firm cross.  
Loar lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Loar steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Loar throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Carswell throws a left hook, but Loar ties up his opponent.  Loar leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Carswell pivots from in front of his opponent, but  throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Carswell time to recover.  
Loar sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Carswell lands a firm left hook.  Loar holds on to his opponent.  Loar is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Loar lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Loar holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Loar's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Loar lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Carswell quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Carswell attempts to land a cross, but Loar slips the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.

Loar sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  
Loar sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Carswell's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!
