The Quebec City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Lyle Bataille (18 - 21) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Sagaz Colmenares(6 - 13) from Matamoros, Mexico.  

Round 1: 

Bataille gets on the inside.  Colmenares lands a left hook.

Bataille advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Colmenares manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Bataille lands two straights to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Colmenares pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a sharp jab.  
Bataille advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.  
Bataille digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Bataille quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bataille throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Bataille ties up his opponent.  Colmenares throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Colmenares connects with a left hook.  Bataille holds on to his opponent.  Colmenares tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Bataille's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Colmenares.  
Bataille is on target with a solid left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Bataille hits home with a firm cross.  
Bataille steps inside.  Colmenares throws a right hook, but Bataille holds on to his opponent.  Colmenares is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Bataille's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
