Rob Craib vs Ashley Baker

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/08/2036 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rob Craib (43 - 7) who hails from New York City, USA and Ashley Baker(0 - 13) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Craib lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Craib pivots to the left of his opponent.  Craib lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Craib holds on to his opponent.  Craib is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Craib to stop fouling.  
Baker connects with a cross.  
Craib steps inside.  Craib pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Baker is on target with a right hook.  
Craib quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a solid right uppercut to Baker's body.  
Craib manouvers Baker onto the ropes.  Craib sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Craib lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  Craib holds on to his opponent.  Craib leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Craib is looking to close the distance and is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Craib lands a solid right hook.  Craib holds on to his opponent.  Craib leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Craib cuts off the ring, trapping Baker on the ropes.  Craib sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Craib lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Craib sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Baker's body.  
Craib pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Craib steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Craib sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Craib voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Baker steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Craib steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Baker closes the distance.  Craib lands a left hook.  
Craib is on target with a right uppercut to Baker's body.  
Craib lands a stinging left hook.  
Craib lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Craib ties up his opponent.  Craib uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Baker behind the head. The referee warns Craib and breaks the clinch.  
Baker advances into close range.  Craib is on target with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Craib's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win.

Craib tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a stinging jab.  
Craib tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand right to the head followed by a jab to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Craib knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Craib lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head, AND SENDS BAKER TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Baker now seems to have his senses back.  
Baker is looking to close the distance.  Craib lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Craib is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Baker quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Craib lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Baker gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but Craib holds on to his opponent.  Craib throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Craib tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a sharp cross.  
Craib switches the action to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Craib lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Craib EXPLODES a HUGE cross into his opponents face.  DOWN GOES BAKER!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Craib!
