Ewan Whitehorn vs Barry Byrne

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 10/08/2036 from Chicago, USA:

The Chicago venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ewan Whitehorn (15 - 4) who hails from Joliet, USA and Barry Byrne(6 - 12) from Gold Coast, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Whitehorn closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Whitehorn clinches his opponent.  Byrne is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Byrne to stop fouling.  
Byrne throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Byrne lands a solid jab.
