Ichiro Sakurai vs Haaris Hamiti

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/08/2036 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ichiro Sakurai (8 - 13) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Haaris Hamiti(15 - 27(1)) from Algiers, Algeria.  

Round 1: 

Sakurai is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Hamiti drives a left hook into Sakurai's body.  
Sakurai steps inside.  Hamiti connects with a stinging right uppercut.  
Hamiti strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Hamiti digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Hamiti lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Sakurai lands a sharp left hook.  
Sakurai hits home with a cross.  Sakurai throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Hamiti time to recover.

Hamiti drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Sakurai hits home with a cross.  
Sakurai gets on the inside and forces Hamiti to retreat onto the ropes.  Sakurai hits home with a right hook.
