Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/08/2036 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Paul Scroggin (3 - 1) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Eric MacCormack(7 - 4) from Greensboro, USA.  

Round 1: 

Scroggin is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Scroggin digs in a left hook to MacCormack's body.  
Scroggin tries to land a left hook, but MacCormack sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Scroggin connects with a stinging right hook.  Scroggin holds on to his opponent.  Scroggin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Scroggin.  
Scroggin drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Scroggin drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
MacCormack sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Scroggin digs in a stinging right uppercut to his opponents body.  
MacCormack sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Scroggin hits home with a cross.  
Scroggin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Scroggin forces MacCormack to back into the ropes.  Scroggin digs in a left hook to MacCormack's body.  
MacCormack switches the action to the outside and lands a sharp overhand right.  
Scroggin steps inside.  MacCormack lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
MacCormack quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  MacCormack throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Scroggin lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

MacCormack feints a cross, but Scroggin is not fooled and lands with a sharp right uppercut to MacCormack's body.  
MacCormack cuts off the ring, trapping Scroggin on the ropes.  Scroggin drives a left hook into MacCormack's body.  
Scroggin lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
It looks like MacCormack has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
MacCormack tries to step out of his opponents range and snaps his opponents head back with a ramrod jab.  
Scroggin closes the distance and forces MacCormack to back into a corner.  Scroggin lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
MacCormack throws a left hook, but Scroggin ties up his opponent.  MacCormack is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Scroggin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Scroggin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
MacCormack lands a cross.  
Scroggin gets on the inside and hits home with a firm left hook.  
MacCormack throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Scroggin closes the distance.  MacCormack throws a left hook, but Scroggin clinches his opponent.  Scroggin tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits MacCormack behind the head. As they grapple, MacCormack pushes his forearm into Scroggin's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns MacCormack.  
Scroggin forces MacCormack to back into the ropes.  MacCormack throws a left hook, but Scroggin holds on to his opponent.  Scroggin uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on MacCormack's kidney. Scroggin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
MacCormack sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Scroggin gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Scroggin attempts to land a left hook, but MacCormack slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Scroggin cuts off the ring, trapping MacCormack on the ropes.  Scroggin tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Scroggin digs in a right hook to MacCormack's ribs.  Scroggin clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
MacCormack connects with a left hook.  
MacCormack throws a right hook, but Scroggin clinches his opponent.  Scroggin leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Scroggin manouvers MacCormack into the corner.  Scroggin whips in a mean right hook to MacCormack's body.  MACCORMACK IS HURT!  
Scroggin is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Scroggin whips in a spiteful left hook to MacCormack's body.  MACCORMACK IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Scroggin!
