Dave Shiels vs Spencer Yelton

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/08/2036 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dave Shiels (47(1) - 16) who hails from Hialeah, USA and Spencer Yelton(1 - 0) from Augusta, USA.  

Round 1: 

Shiels closes the distance.  Yelton is on target with a left hook.  
Yelton is on target with a stiff jab.  
Shiels is looking to close the distance.  Yelton connects with a solid left uppercut.  
Shiels drives a right uppercut into Yelton's body.  
Shiels lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Yelton tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Yelton's ribs.  
Shiels gets on the inside and lands a left hook.  Shiels throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Shiels quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a stinging right hook.  
Shiels finds the target with a jab.  
Shiels gets on the inside and digs in a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Shiels pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Shiels walks Yelton onto the ropes.  Shiels pivots to the left of his opponent.  Yelton throws a right uppercut, but Shiels clinches his opponent.  Yelton is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Yelton lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Shiels closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Shiels steps inside.  Yelton connects with a right hook.  
Shiels lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Yelton pivots to the side of his opponent, but Shiels lands a right hook to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Shiels closes the distance.  Yelton attempts to land a left hook, but Shiels sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook to Yelton's body.  
Shiels lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Shiels walks his opponent down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Shiels connects with a left uppercut.  
Shiels throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Yelton time to recover.  
Shiels closes the distance.  Yelton throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Shiels's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Shiels throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Shiels ties up his opponent.  Shiels leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Yelton switches the action to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Shiels finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Shiels is looking to close the distance and digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Shiels steps inside.  Yelton throws a left uppercut, but Shiels ties up his opponent.  Shiels throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Yelton pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Shiels steps inside.  Yelton lands a right uppercut.  Shiels clinches his opponent.  Shiels pushes his forearm into Yelton's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Shiels.  
Shiels quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Yelton's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
