Owen Stobie vs Ian Rintoul

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 03/08/2036 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Owen Stobie (32 - 9) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Ian Rintoul(2 - 5) from Boston, USA.  

Round 1: 

Stobie lands an overhand right to the head, a jab to the head and a jab to the body.  
Rintoul is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Stobie is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Stobie tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Rintoul closes the distance.  Stobie attempts to land a left hook, but Rintoul slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Rintoul closes the distance and manouvers Stobie onto the ropes.  Rintoul attempts to land a left hook, but Stobie sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Rintoul switches the action to the outside.  Rintoul sidesteps to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Rintoul connects with a sharp overhand right.  
Stobie sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Stobie tries to land a jab, but Rintoul slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Rintoul sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.  
Stobie switches the action to the outside.  Stobie feints a jab, and then lands a stinging overhand right.  Stobie goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Rintoul's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Rintoul closes the distance and hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Stobie is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Stobie lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Stobie lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Rintoul lands with a stiff jab.

Stobie tries to keep the action at long range.  Stobie feints a right, and then lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Stobie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands an overhand right to the head followed by a cross to the body.

Stobie lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Stobie sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Rintoul advances into close range and digs in a left hook to Stobie's ribs.
