Neron Frias vs Jose Quijas

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/07/2036 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Neron Frias (20 - 13) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Jose Quijas(0 - 11) from L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Spain.  

Round 1: 

Frias steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Frias lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Frias clinches his opponent.  Quijas pushes his forearm into Frias's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Quijas to stop fouling.  
Frias pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a firm left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Quijas is on target with a left hook.  
Frias is looking to close the distance and connects with a solid right hook.  Frias holds on to his opponent.  Frias uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Quijas behind the head. 
Frias lands a right hook.  Frias holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Frias pushes his forearm into Quijas's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Frias.  
Frias connects with a right hook.  
Quijas digs in a right hook to Frias's body.  
Frias closes the distance and lands a left hook.

Frias advances into close range and drives a left hook into Quijas's body.
