The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Hilario Alcantar (10 - 6) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Sid Edmison(0 - 4) from Wollongong, Australia.

Edmison forces Alcantar to retreat into a corner.  Edmison hits home with a right hook.

Alcantar drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Edmison tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Edmison's body.  
Alcantar stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Edmison connects with an overhand right.  
Alcantar connects with an overhand right.  
Edmison connects with a cross.  
Alcantar throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Edmison's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Edmison's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
