Iwao Okamura vs Yoshi Kuno

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/07/2036 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Iwao Okamura (1 - 4) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Yoshi Kuno(0 - 7) from Fukuoka, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Okamura is looking to close the distance.  Kuno throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Okamura walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Okamura sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.

Okamura steps inside and is on target with a firm left uppercut to Kuno's body.  
Kuno feints a left hook, and then lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Okamura is on target with a cross to his opponents body.  
Okamura closes the distance.  Kuno connects with a left uppercut.  
Okamura throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Kuno to the neutral corner.  He warns Okamura that he could be heading for a point deduction.  
Kuno gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Okamura is on target with a firm right uppercut.  
Kuno gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.
