Lee Stull vs Jose Subia

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 12/06/2036 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Lee Stull (6 - 2) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Jose Subia(3 - 5(1)) from Chihuahua, Mexico.  

Round 1: 

Stull closes the distance.  Subia connects with a stinging left uppercut.  
Stull steps inside.  Stull quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Subia lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Stull forces Subia to back into the corner.  Stull drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Stull is looking to close the distance.  Stull pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Stull connects with a sharp cross.  
Stull lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Subia tries to keep the action at long range and throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Subia connects with a cross.  
Subia switches the action to the outside and lands with a stinging jab.  
Stull is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Stull drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Stull sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Stull lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Stull is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to Subia's ribs.

Subia throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Subia attempts to land a right uppercut, but Stull blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Stull manouvers Subia onto the ropes.  Subia lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Stull lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Stull is on target with a solid left hook to Subia's body.  
Stull is on target with a firm left uppercut.  Stull clinches his opponent.  Subia pushes his forearm into Stull's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Stull closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Stull lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Stull walks Subia onto the ropes.  Stull pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Subia hits home with a left hook.

Stull digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Stull walks Subia down, trapping him on the ropes.  Stull lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Stull clinches his opponent.  Stull throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Subia is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Subia about fouling.  
Subia throws a left uppercut, but Stull clinches his opponent.  Subia tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Stull behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Stull digs in a solid left hook to Subia's liver.  
Stull walks Subia into a corner.  Stull lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Stull lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Subia lands a solid left hook.  
Stull drives a right hook into Subia's ribcage.  
Stull manages to force Subia onto the ropes.  Stull quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Subia throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Stull is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Stull lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Stull digs in a forceful right hook to his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE SUBIA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Subia quickly recovers. 
Stull steps inside and digs in a right uppercut to Subia's ribs.  
Subia pivots to the side of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.
