Josh Quilliam vs Eloy Severo

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 27/05/2036 from Charleston, USA:

The Charleston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Josh Quilliam (19 - 8) who hails from Columbia, USA and Eloy Severo(3 - 5) from Soyapango, El Salvador.  

Round 1: 

Quilliam attempts to land a jab, but Severo parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Quilliam gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Severo hits home with a left uppercut.  
Quilliam tries to keep the action at long range and lands a firm cross.

Quilliam advances into close range.  Severo pivots from in front of his opponent, but Quilliam is on target with a firm left hook.  
Severo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Quilliam closes the distance and hits home with a solid right hook.  
Quilliam gets on the inside.  Severo sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Quilliam connects with a left hook.  
Severo attempts to land a jab, but Quilliam sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Severo steps away from his opponent.  Quilliam hits home with an overhand right.  
Severo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Severo throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Quilliam is on target with a stinging right hook to Severo's ribcage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Quilliam's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
