Ricky Dalton vs John Slane

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/05/2036 from Cambridge, UK:

The Cambridge venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ricky Dalton (14 - 14) who hails from London, UK and John Slane(2 - 0) from Cardiff, UK.  

Round 1: 

Slane closes the distance.  Slane pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Slane throws an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Slane gets on the inside.  Dalton lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Slane sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Dalton is on target with a right hook.  
Slane is looking to close the distance.  Dalton throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Slane quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross to Dalton's body.  
Dalton tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a spiteful jab.  
Dalton sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Dalton tries to keep the action at long range.  Dalton sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Slane lands an overhand right.  
Dalton steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Slane finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Dalton lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Dalton feints a cross, but Slane does not fall for it and responds with a left uppercut.  
Dalton attempts to land a jab, but Slane sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Dalton's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Slane snaps his opponents head back with a sharp jab.  
Dalton lands an overhand right.  
Dalton tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He then lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.  
Slane pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Dalton steps away from his opponent.  Slane throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Slane gets on the inside.  Dalton drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Slane throws an overhand left, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Dalton is on target with a cross.

Slane steps inside and walks Dalton onto the ropes.  Dalton drives a left hook into Slane's body.  
Dalton steps to the outside.  Dalton lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Slane connects with a cross.
