Ian Smith vs James Cloy

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/05/2036 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ian Smith (31 - 7) who hails from New York City, USA and James Cloy(1 - 1) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Smith gets on the inside.  Smith pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Smith closes the distance.  Smith pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Smith lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Smith is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Smith closes the distance.  Smith pivots to the right of his opponent and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Smith steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Smith hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  
Smith pivots to the side of his opponent.  Smith tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Smith is on target with a cross.  
Smith is looking to close the distance.  Smith quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a solid right hook.  
Smith voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Cloy lands with a stinging jab.  Cloy throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Smith advances into close range and drives a sharp right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Smith lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.

Cloy pivots to the left of his opponent, but Smith lands a right hook.  
Smith steps inside and digs in a right hook to Cloy's ribcage.  Smith holds on to his opponent.  Smith leans on his opponent using all his weight. Smith uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Cloy behind the head. The ref breaks Smith's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Cloy steps away from his opponent and tries to land a jab, but Smith blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Smith advances into close range and is on target with a right uppercut to Cloy's ribcage.

Smith gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Cloy sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Smith lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
