Roger Laird vs Franco Fiel

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/05/2036 from Quebec City, Canada:

The Quebec City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Roger Laird (6 - 5) who hails from Laval, Canada and Franco Fiel(1 - 10) from Goiania, Brazil.  

Round 1: 

Fiel hits home with a cross.

Laird steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Laird sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Fiel connects with an overhand right.  
Laird steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Laird lands a left uppercut.  
Laird digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  Laird throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Fiel tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Laird is on target with a left uppercut.  
Laird is on target with an overhand right.  
Laird hits home with a cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Laird's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid. Fiel's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!
