Boxing Daily Report from the South Africa National Finals 2036,  taking place on 29/04/2036 from Randburg, South Africa:

The Randburg venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bart Kathrada (51(26) - 23) who hails from Katlehong, South Africa and Quannell Rahman(20 - 16(2)) from Khayelitsha, South Africa.  

Round 1: 

Kathrada is looking to close the distance.  Kathrada pivots to the right of his opponent, but Rahman connects with a right hook.  
Kathrada lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Kathrada is looking to close the distance and slams a hurtful right hook into his opponents body.  RAHMAN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!

Kathrada advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kathrada is looking to close the distance.  Kathrada sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Rahman is on target with a solid left uppercut.  Kathrada clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Kathrada pushes his forearm into Rahman's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Kathrada.  
Kathrada attempts to land a right uppercut, but Rahman parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Rahman lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Kathrada drives a solid left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Kathrada digs in a solid left uppercut to Rahman's liver.  
Kathrada lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Kathrada lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Kathrada steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Kathrada holds on to his opponent.  Kathrada leans on his opponent using all his weight. Kathrada uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Rahman behind the head. Rahman quickly recovers. 
Kathrada digs in a stinging right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Kathrada drives a potent left uppercut into Rahman's body.  RAHMAN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  
Rahman tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kathrada lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Kathrada walks Rahman down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kathrada lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kathrada slams a nasty right uppercut into Rahman's ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE RAHMAN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Rahman almost instantly recovers. 
Kathrada lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kathrada lands a left uppercut to the body, a jab to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Kathrada steps inside.  Kathrada thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Rahman away.  Kathrada lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body, AND SENDS RAHMAN TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Kathrada!
