Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/04/2036 from Sydney, Australia:

The Sydney venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Chris Bayog (41(5) - 10) who hails from Quezon City, Philippines and Matt MacNeill(0 - 15) from Sydney, Australia.  

Round 1: 

MacNeill connects with a cross.  
Bayog feints a right, and then lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
MacNeill sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Bayog lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.

MacNeill pivots to the right of his opponent, but Bayog lands a jab.  
Bayog is looking to keep his distance.  Bayog feints a jab, tricking MacNeill into launching a cross counter.  Bayog is waiting for the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
MacNeill connects with a left hook.  
MacNeill hits home with a firm left hook.  Bayog ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Bayog pushes his forearm into MacNeill's face.  The referee warns Bayog and breaks the clinch.
