Boxing Daily Report from the Switzerland National Finals 2036,  taking place on 26/04/2036 from Bern, Switzerland:

The Bern venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Varil Gladieux (4 - 10) who hails from Geneva, Switzerland and Curtis Kamerer(40(5) - 21(3)) from Winterthur, Switzerland.

Kamerer is on target with a right hook.  Kamerer clinches his opponent.  Gladieux is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kamerer lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Kamerer clinches his opponent.  Gladieux leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Gladieux pushes his forearm into Kamerer's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kamerer lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  
Kamerer sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Gladieux closes the distance.  Kamerer drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Kamerer clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Gladieux pushes his forearm into Kamerer's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Gladieux to stop fouling.  
Kamerer is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Gladieux throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.
