Boxing Daily Report from the South Korea National Finals 2036,  taking place on 26/04/2036 from Goyang, South Korea:

The Goyang venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bum-young Ryu (14 - 7) who hails from Changwon, South Korea and Myung-joo Hwang(28(9) - 5) from Daejeon, South Korea.  

Round 1: 

Hwang advances into close range and drives a left hook into Ryu's body.  
Ryu steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Hwang steps inside.  Hwang quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hwang lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Hwang throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hwang hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Hwang sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Hwang is on target with a firm left hook.  Hwang attempts to land a left hook, but Ryu parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Hwang forces Ryu to retreat into the corner.  Hwang lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Hwang steps inside.  Ryu is on target with a left uppercut.  
Ryu is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Ryu sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ryu throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hwang steps inside and walks Ryu down, trapping him on the ropes.  Hwang is on target with a firm right hook.

Hwang steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Hwang throws a right uppercut, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Hwang clinches his opponent.  Hwang leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Hwang pushes his forearm into Ryu's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hwang.

Hwang advances into close range.  Ryu throws a left hook, but Hwang ties up his opponent.  Hwang is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Hwang digs in a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  Hwang holds on to his opponent.  Hwang is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Hwang tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Ryu's kidney. The referee warns Hwang and breaks the clinch.

Hwang lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He then lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.

Hwang quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Ryu digs in a firm right hook to Hwang's ribcage.  
Hwang walks Ryu down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Hwang lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS RYU SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Hwang clinches his opponent.  Hwang leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
