Boris Polukhin vs Valeri Malyshev

Boxing Daily Report from the Russia National Finals 2036,  taking place on 26/04/2036 from Kazan, Russia:

The Kazan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Boris Polukhin (10 - 7) who hails from Rostov-on-Don, Russia and Valeri Malyshev(15 - 5) from Sochi, Russia.

Malyshev lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Malyshev clinches his opponent.  Malyshev hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee warns Malyshev and breaks the clinch.

Polukhin throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.

Malyshev steps inside and whips in a nasty right hook to Polukhin's ribs.  POLUKHIN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE REMAINS ON THE CANVAS AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Malyshev!
