Gus Loar vs Lazar Students

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 24/04/2036 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gus Loar (17(2) - 1) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Lazar Students(4 - 6(1)) from Riga, Latvia.  

Round 1: 

Loar closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to Students's ribs.  
Loar lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  Loar holds on to his opponent.  Loar pushes his forearm into Students's face.  The referee warns Loar and breaks the clinch.  
Loar throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Loar cuts off the ring, trapping Students in the corner.  Students lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Loar lands a right hook.  
Loar connects with a left hook.  
Loar lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Loar clinches his opponent.  Loar leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Students sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Loar lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Loar lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Students lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Students throws a left hook, but Loar clinches his opponent.  Loar leans on his opponent using all his weight. Students pushes his forearm into Loar's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Students.  
Loar digs in a right uppercut to Students's ribcage.  
Loar finds the target with a jab.  
Loar lands a jab.  Loar attempts to land a left hook, but Students slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Loar gets on the inside and drives a left hook into Students's liver.  Loar ties up his opponent.  Loar tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Students's kidney. 
Loar gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Students tries to step out of his opponents range.  Loar hits home with a stinging overhand right.  
Loar quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Loar closes the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Loar gets on the inside.  Students throws a right uppercut, but Loar ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Loar's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Loar quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Students hits home with a left uppercut.  Students attempts to land a left hook, but Loar blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Students throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Students pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Loar lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Loar lands a cross to the head, a jab to the head and a cross to the body.  
Loar gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Loar holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Loar lands a left hook.  
Loar lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Loar lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Students lands a left uppercut.  Students throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Loar cuts off the ring, trapping Students in a corner.  Loar lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  Loar holds on to his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Loar crashes a spiteful right uppercut to Students's body.  STUDENTS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Students recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Loar lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Loar lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Students's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!
