Hiro Akiyama vs Jun Ota

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/04/2036 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Hiro Akiyama (32 - 12) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Jun Ota(4 - 7) from Osaka, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Akiyama lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Ota throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Akiyama switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Akiyama drives a right hook into Ota's body.  
Akiyama hits home with a cross.  
Ota closes the distance.  Akiyama lands a right hook.  Akiyama holds on to his opponent.  Akiyama pushes his forearm into Ota's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Akiyama about fouling.
