Alastair Casey vs Paul Wardlaw

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 18/04/2036 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alastair Casey (30 - 6) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Paul Wardlaw(2 - 13) from Lafayette, USA.  

Round 1: 

Wardlaw lands with a stiff jab.

Casey advances into close range.  Casey quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a stinging left hook to Wardlaw's body.

Wardlaw pushes his forearm into Casey's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Wardlaw about fouling.

Wardlaw is looking to keep his distance and lands a sharp jab.  
Casey closes the distance.  Wardlaw connects with a left hook.

Casey lands a right hook.  Casey ties up his opponent.  Wardlaw throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Wardlaw.  
Casey manages to force Wardlaw onto the ropes.  Casey pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a sharp left hook.
