Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 17/04/2036 from Ottawa, Canada:

The Ottawa venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Forrest Bau (8 - 8) who hails from Lonueuil, Canada and Mark Kay(2 - 8) from Ottawa, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Kay pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Kay hits the target with a solid jab.  
Bau tries to land a jab, but Kay slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Kay lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Kay switches the action to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Bau quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Bau is on target with a right hook to Kay's body.  
Kay walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Bau is on target with a right uppercut to Kay's body.  
Kay pivots to the right of his opponent, but Bau is on target with a stinging right hook to Kay's body.

Kay is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a sharp overhand right.  
Bau steps inside.  Kay drives a stinging right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Bau connects with a cross.  Bau goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Kay to the neutral corner.  He warns Bau that he could be heading for a point deduction.

Bau gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Bau closes the distance and hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Bau gets on the inside and forces Kay to retreat onto the ropes.  Bau is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Kay is looking to keep the action on the outside and snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.

Kay hits home with a cross.  Kay tries to land a jab, but Bau sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
