Alejandro Laura vs Cortez Rozas

Boxing Daily Report from the Puerto Rico National Finals 2036,  taking place on 11/04/2036 from Carolina, Puerto Rico:

The Carolina venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alejandro Laura (11(1) - 1) who hails from Carolina, Puerto Rico and Cortez Rozas(6 - 9(1)) from Bayamon, Puerto Rico.  

Round 1: 

Laura is looking to close the distance.  Laura pivots to the right of his opponent, but Rozas is on target with a solid left hook.

Rozas hits home with a solid cross.  
Laura is looking to close the distance.  Laura pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a firm left hook into Rozas's ribs.  
Laura is on target with a right hook to Rozas's body.  Laura clinches his opponent.  Rozas is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Laura throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Laura gets on the inside and hits home with a solid left uppercut.  Laura clinches his opponent.  Laura is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Laura.  
Laura pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Rozas's body.  
Laura hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Laura connects with a right hook.
