Boxing Daily Report from the Nicaragua National Finals 2036,  taking place on 11/04/2036 from Managua, Nicaragua:

The Managua venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Montana Velo (5 - 3) who hails from Managua, Nicaragua and Senon Padua(3 - 7) from Managua, Nicaragua.

Velo slams a mean left hook into his opponents body.  PADUA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Padua quickly recovers. 
Velo gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Velo closes the distance and drives a firm right hook into his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE PADUA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
It looks like Padua has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Velo manages to force Padua onto the ropes.  Velo lands a left hook.  
Padua is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Padua digs in a sharp left hook to Velo's body.  
Velo is looking to close the distance.  Velo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and whips in a big left hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE PADUA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Padua recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Velo is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.

Velo is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Velo lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Velo holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Velo pushes his forearm into Padua's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Velo about fouling.
