Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 31/03/2036 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are John McAfee (29(2) - 12) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Owen Pluim(1 - 3) from Minneapolis, USA.  

Round 1: 

Pluim lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

McAfee steps inside.  McAfee quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
McAfee throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  McAfee holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Pluim pushes his forearm into McAfee's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pluim about fouling.  
McAfee connects with a solid left hook.  
McAfee gets on the inside and throws a left uppercut, but is unable to find the target.  McAfee clinches his opponent.  McAfee leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
McAfee lands a left hook.  
McAfee strikes his opponents body with a firm cross.  
Pluim steps to the outside and connects with a firm overhand right.

McAfee is looking to close the distance and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  McAfee holds on to his opponent.  Pluim is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
