Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/03/2036 from Montevideo, Uruguay:

The Montevideo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Quin Ruano (35(5) - 8) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Maslin Barthez(1 - 6) from Montreal, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Ruano lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Ruano attempts to land a left hook, but Barthez sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ruano lands a right uppercut.  
Barthez sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Ruano's body.

Ruano gets on the inside and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.

Barthez quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ruano throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Ruano ties up his opponent.  Ruano is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ruano lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ruano manouvers Barthez into the blue corner.  Ruano is on target with a right hook.  
Ruano is looking to close the distance and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  Ruano clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ruano pushes his forearm into Barthez's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ruano.  
Ruano lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Ruano pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a firm cross.  
Ruano connects with a left uppercut.  Ruano clinches his opponent.  Ruano uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Barthez's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ruano to stop fouling.  
Ruano is on target with a right hook to Barthez's body.  Ruano clinches his opponent.  Barthez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Ruano closes the distance.  Barthez throws a left hook, but Ruano ties up his opponent.  Ruano is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Ruano's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ruano sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.

Ruano is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Ruano hits home with a stinging right hook.

Ruano is on target with a solid right hook.  
Ruano lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Ruano is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Ruano holds on to his opponent.  Ruano leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ruano digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ruano connects with a sharp right hook.  
Barthez is looking to close the distance.  Ruano crashes a spiteful left hook to his opponents body.  BARTHEZ WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Ruano knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Ruano lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS BARTHEZ SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.

He then lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND BARTHEZ IS DOWN!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Ruano!
