Boxing Daily Report from the Kenya National Finals 2036,  taking place on 29/03/2036 from Nairobi, Kenya:

The Nairobi venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Majid Ahmad (15 - 14) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Danyaal Kharoti(8 - 18) from Nakuru, Kenya.  

Round 1:

Ahmad gets on the inside and drives a stinging right hook into Kharoti's ribs.  
Ahmad lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Kharoti is looking to keep his distance and attempts to land a cross, but Ahmad sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Ahmad walks Kharoti down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Ahmad drives a left hook into Kharoti's body.  Ahmad throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Ahmad lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Ahmad advances into close range.  Ahmad retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Kharoti accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Ahmad.  
Ahmad lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Ahmad throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Kharoti's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
