Boxing Daily Report from the Kenya National Finals 2036,  taking place on 26/03/2036 from Nairobi, Kenya:

The Nairobi venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Chris Changeywo (2 - 2) who hails from Kangundo-Tala, Kenya and Geoff Simiyu(17(2) - 3) from Nairobi, Kenya.

Simiyu lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Simiyu closes the distance and digs in a left hook to Changeywo's liver.  
Simiyu lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Changeywo attempts to land an overhand right, but Simiyu sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Simiyu advances into close range and connects with a sharp left hook.  Simiyu ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Changeywo pushes his forearm into Simiyu's face.  The referee warns Changeywo and breaks the clinch.  Simiyu attempts to land a left hook, but Changeywo sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.
