Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2036,  taking place on 26/03/2036 from Kingston, Jamaica:

The Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Amon Owens (8 - 5) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Declan Glass(45 - 19) from Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Owens steps to the outside.  Glass lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Owens connects with an overhand left.  
Glass walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Glass feints a right, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Glass feints a left, and then lands a jab.  
Owens tries to land a jab, but Glass sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Owens lands a right hook.  Glass holds on to his opponent.  Glass leans on his opponent using all his weight. Glass is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Glass's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Glass hits home with a left uppercut.  
Owens tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with an overhand right.  
Glass digs in a right hook to Owens's ribcage.  
Glass is looking to close the distance and lands a firm left uppercut.  
Owens steps away from his opponent and is on target with a stinging cross.  Owens tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.

Glass gets on the inside.  Glass sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Glass gets on the inside and forces Owens to retreat onto the ropes.  Owens is on target with a firm right hook.
