Chris Tweedie vs John Axtell

Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2036,  taking place on 26/03/2036 from Kingston, Jamaica:

The Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Chris Tweedie (17 - 13) who hails from Spanish Town, Jamaica and John Axtell(14 - 24(1)) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Axtell advances into close range.  Tweedie throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Tweedie steps to the outside and lands a sharp cross.  
Axtell is looking to close the distance and is on target with a solid left hook.

Tweedie closes the distance.  Tweedie leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Axtell is whaling away with hooks, but Tweedie keeps his defence tight.
