Boxing Daily Report from the Guyana National Finals 2036,  taking place on 26/03/2036 from Linden, Guyana:

The Linden venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are David Leaper (13 - 18(1)) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Theo Palin(6 - 17) from New Amsterdam, Guyana.  

Round 1: 

Leaper attempts to land a jab, but Palin dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Leaper switches the action to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Palin walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Leaper is on target with a right uppercut.  
Leaper is on target with a right hook.  
Palin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Palin steps away from his opponent.  Leaper lands a ramrod jab.  
Palin lands a firm left uppercut.  
Palin forces Leaper to back into the ropes.  Palin sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Leaper is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a cross.  
Leaper quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a solid overhand right.  
Palin hits home with a left uppercut.  
Leaper is on target with a sharp cross.

Palin tries to keep the action at long range.  Palin waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Leaper lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Leaper voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Palin accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Leaper.  Palin lands with a spiteful jab.  
Leaper is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a hard jab.  
Leaper tries to keep the action at long range and tries to land a jab, but Palin sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.
