Joaquin Dimas vs Kyo Kai

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 24/03/2036 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Joaquin Dimas (0 - 2) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Kyo Kai(2 - 4) from Tokyo, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Dimas is looking to keep his distance.  Dimas sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with an overhand right.  
Kai advances into close range.  Kai throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Dimas time to recover.  
Kai throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Kai is looking to close the distance.  Dimas connects with a right hook.  
Kai is on target with a jab.  
Kai feints a jab, fooling Dimas into throwing a left hook counter.  Kai springs the trap, countering with  a solid left hook.  
Kai advances into close range and walks his opponent into a corner.  Dimas hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Dimas switches the action to the outside.  Dimas sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Kai lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Kai is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Kai closes the distance and tries to land a left hook, but Dimas parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Dimas is looking to keep his distance.  Dimas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Kai steps inside and walks Dimas down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kai pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Kai lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Dimas is on target with a left hook.

Kai steps inside.  Dimas lands a left uppercut.  
Dimas tries to keep the action at long range.  Kai is on target with a cross.  
Dimas hits home with a cross.  
Dimas tries to step out of his opponents range.  Dimas sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with an overhand right.  
Kai closes the distance.  Dimas digs in a firm left hook to Kai's ribs.  
Kai gets on the inside.  Dimas hits home with a left hook.  
Kai walks Dimas into the red corner.  Dimas lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

Kai digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents ribs.
