Yoshi Shoji vs Kyo Kai

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/03/2036 from Fukuoka, Japan:

The Fukuoka venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Yoshi Shoji (1 - 3) who hails from Fukuoka, Japan and Kyo Kai(1 - 4) from Tokyo, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Kai manouvers Shoji into the corner.  Shoji is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Kai connects with a stinging right uppercut.  
Kai digs in a right hook to Shoji's body.  
Kai pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Shoji steps away from his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Kai tries to land a jab, but Shoji parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Shoji lands a sharp cross.  Shoji tries to land a right hook, but Kai blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Shoji steps away from his opponent and connects with a solid overhand right.  
Kai lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Kai lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Kai lands a left hook.  
Kai connects with a left hook.  
Kai lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Kai connects with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Shoji's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Kai drives a left uppercut into Shoji's body.  Kai ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Kai pushes his forearm into Shoji's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Kai lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Shoji connects with a right hook.  
Shoji lands a sharp right hook.  Kai ties up his opponent.  Kai is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Kai's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Shoji throws a left hook, but Kai holds on to his opponent.  Kai is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Kai.  
Kai walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Kai is on target with a right hook.  
Shoji sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Kai connects with a firm overhand left.  
Shoji switches the action to the outside.  Shoji feints a left hook, but Kai is not fooled and responds with a solid left hook.  
Kai is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut.  
Shoji manages to force Kai onto the ropes.  Kai lands a right hook.  
Kai lands a right hook.  
Shoji is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Shoji sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with an overhand left.  
Shoji switches the action to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Shoji closes the distance.  Kai throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Kai clinches his opponent.  Kai tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Shoji's kidney.
