Boxing Daily Report from the Belarus National Finals 2036,  taking place on 11/03/2036 from Minsk, Belarus:

The Minsk venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Afon Kozuch (2 - 1) who hails from Grodno, Belarus and Faddei Makuch(19(9) - 11) from Mogilev, Belarus.  

Round 1: 

Kozuch sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Makuch is looking to close the distance.  Makuch pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Kozuch throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.

Makuch advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Kozuch throws a right uppercut, but Makuch holds on to his opponent.  Makuch leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kozuch throws a right hook, but Makuch ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Makuch pushes his forearm into Kozuch's face.  The referee warns Makuch and breaks the clinch.  
Makuch hits home with a firm left hook.

Makuch digs in a left hook to Kozuch's body.  
Kozuch is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a jab.  
Makuch drives a sharp right hook into Kozuch's body.
