Henry Crail vs Barry Meldahl

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 08/03/2036 from Las Vegas, USA:

The Las Vegas venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Henry Crail (34(1) - 8) who hails from Henderson, USA and Barry Meldahl(3 - 2) from Cleveland, USA.  

Round 1: 

Crail is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Crail gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Meldahl is on target with a jab.  
Crail is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Crail walks Meldahl down, trapping him on the ropes.  Crail lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Crail gets on the inside.  Meldahl throws a left hook, but Crail ties up his opponent.  Crail is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Meldahl pushes his forearm into Crail's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Meldahl about fouling.  
Crail digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Meldahl throws a right uppercut, but Crail holds on to his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Meldahl throws a left hook, but Crail ties up his opponent.  Crail pushes his forearm into Meldahl's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Crail lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Crail pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Crail connects with a right uppercut.  Crail ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Crail pushes his forearm into Meldahl's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Meldahl is on target with a left hook.  
Crail digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  Crail ties up his opponent.  Crail pushes his forearm into Meldahl's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Crail to stop fouling.  
Meldahl lands with a sharp jab.

Crail closes the distance and is on target with a sharp left hook to Meldahl's body.  Crail clinches his opponent.  Crail is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Crail pushes his forearm into Meldahl's face.  The referee warns Crail and breaks the clinch.  
Crail lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Crail lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Crail lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Meldahl recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Meldahl is on target with a right uppercut to Crail's body.  
Meldahl digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  Crail clinches his opponent.  Crail is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Crail uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Meldahl's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.
