Jack Kerrigan vs Phil Tafoya

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 06/03/2036 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jack Kerrigan (26 - 1) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Phil Tafoya(0 - 1) from Providence, USA.  

Round 1: 

Kerrigan steps inside and drives a left uppercut into his opponents ribs.

Tafoya tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Kerrigan lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Kerrigan throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Kerrigan gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Kerrigan closes the distance.  Kerrigan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.

Kerrigan closes the distance and is on target with a right hook.  
Kerrigan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kerrigan's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Kerrigan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.

Kerrigan lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Tafoya lands a jab.  
Kerrigan lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kerrigan hits home with a sharp jab.
